Successful Motion Graphics Artists/Studios
What I found to be most interesting about this example was how much it reminded me of a collage. I really love the various textures and forms of typography that differentiate through the video. Your eye is constantly wandering through the composition as there is always something new to look at due to the continuous movement. The transitions of every element are engaging, and the layouts all work well together too.
As we have been working with shapes recently, I thought I would research motion graphics videos that simply deal with shapes. What I liked about this animation is that it is not overly complex, but it is still detailed and interesting enough to the point were it is engaging. I thought the shapes moving to the beat of the song track was clever, and the way the transitions occurred fit with the music as well. Additionally, the consistent color palette was a plus, and the way she used the colors through the animation was nicely done.
The transitions and amount of detail within some of the scenes is what I found to be most interesting about this animation. I feel the transitions of some of the scenes "falling apart" or "exploding" are neat and something I have not thought about. I also liked when the two circles bounced off of each other at the very beginning to kickstart the rest of the animation, and I felt it was a simple introduction to a increasingly complicated animation.
